How our landscape guides are drafted, checked, sourced, updated, and corrected, including AI assistance and the limits of photo-based concepts.

Who publishes these guides
The AILandscape Team publishes our landscape style guides, ideas, element explanations, comparisons, glossary, and planning guides. The organizational byline identifies the publisher; it does not claim professional licensure or individual qualifications.
AI assistance and review
These guides are drafted with AI assistance and checked with automated rules for structure, word count, repetitive text, unsupported product claims, and registered sources. Automated checks do not establish factual accuracy or professional suitability. We do not describe a page as human-reviewed unless that review has actually occurred. Readers should verify decisions about their own property with suitable local professionals.
Article covers are AI-generated illustrations of their topics. They are not photographs documenting customer projects and do not verify plant identity or site conditions.
Sources and factual claims
We prefer public agencies, university extension services, professional associations, and recognized horticultural organizations. Sources are listed on the relevant page, and the text identifies the publisher when relying on a specific factual claim. A source listing is not an endorsement of this service. Plant recommendations require local checks for climate, soil, mature size, invasiveness, and toxicity; a general guide cannot verify suitability for every site.
Dimensions described as rules of thumb are preliminary planning examples rather than measurements of your yard. We explain cost drivers without presenting a local quotation. Drainage, retaining structures, electrical work, gas, utilities, permits, and construction require qualified local assessment.
Product boundaries
AILandscape creates photo-based visual concepts for early exploration. Generated images are not measured plans, construction drawings, verified planting schedules, cost estimates, or engineering advice. Confirm property dimensions, conditions, plants, and construction details independently before acting.
Updates and corrections
“Last updated” identifies the date of the most recent substantive editorial change to a guide. The visible date, structured data, and sitemap use the same content record. We review pages when errors, outdated information, or useful new context are identified; a displayed date does not guarantee that every external source was rechecked that day.
Report an error, missing context, or unsuitable recommendation through our content reporting page. Include the page URL and the passage in question, plus a reliable source where available. We assess reports and correct substantive errors rather than merely refreshing dates.
